A pair of ravens (Little or Australian - I'm not sure which) worrying new born lambs, pecking at their bottoms and remnants of umbilical cord.

The mother ewe tried to defend the lambs but had difficulty protecting both of them against two birds at once.

Ravens are smart birds and no doubt picked a ewe with two lambs to give them more opportunity to strike when one lamb was undefended.

My methods are savage. I come with my mob
To harry the helpless and weak,
To rend and to ravage, to murder and rob,
And my ways are the ways of a sneak.
